Antitrust violations due to illegal agreements on the size of tanks for the fuel additive "AdBlue" must be punished. "But pre-competitive cooperation and talks on technical standards between automakers are more necessary than ever in the future fields of electromobility, connectivity and autonomous driving. There must be a reliable and practicable legal framework for this in the EU. Otherwise, the competitive disadvantages vis-à-vis China will become even greater."
